This is a chest tomb located approximately 1 metre to the east of another item on Lindfield High Street, dating from around 1846. It is wide and low, constructed from stone, and features square piers at each end set on a stone plinth. The tomb originally had railings, which are no longer present, and it is topped with a flat stone slab that bears an inscription.
