Description

Kixes is an L-shaped timber-framed house, dating from the 17th century or earlier, located in Sharpthorne on Horsted Lane. The house features plaster infilling and curved braces, and has been restored and enlarged over time. The ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick, and the roof is tiled. The building has modern casement windows, stands two storeys high with an attic, and includes three windows and two hipped dormers. There is also a large modern wing added to the west.
