Description

Mercers is an L-shaped timber-framed house, with a north wing dating to the 15th century and a west wing from the 16th century. The house is two storeys high, featuring three windows on each wing. Originally timber-framed, the ground floor is now faced with red brick and the upper portion is tile-hung. The roof is of Horsham slate, with a half-hipped gable on the west side that incorporates attic windows. Casement windows are present throughout.
