Description
Springlands is a house with an original L-shaped layout. The north wing likely dates to the 17th century or earlier and is timber-framed with plaster infilling. It has a Horsham slab roof, partially replaced with tiles. The east wing is also timber-framed but was refronted with red brick in the 18th century; it has a tiled roof. A doorway features a flat hood supported by brackets, and both wings contain casement windows. The house is two stories tall, with three windows visible from the front. A south wing was added in the 19th century. The group value derives from its contribution to the architectural character of the area.
