Description
Boarsland House is a late 17th-century house, altered around 1830. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with an old tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. It features casement windows, with tripartite arrangements in the outer bays, although the original leaded lights are now missing. The ground floor windows have cambered heads. A modillion eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. A central 19th-century doorcase with a cornice, console brackets, and a four-panelled door is present. Two brick chimney stacks are located at the ends of the building, the southern one being external and partially constructed from sandstone at its base.
