Description

The outbuilding and wall to Nos 1 and 1A on Pondtail Road date from the 19th century. The structure features a yard wall that extends from the west side of No 1 and continues along the street front to connect with a small outbuilding positioned at a right angle to the road. The wall is constructed of red brick with grey headers and has semi-circular red-brick coping. The outbuilding is similarly built of red brick with grey headers and includes two segmental-headed windows facing west, which have casements with intact glazing bars. There are also two doors that feature rectangular glazed fan-lights. Nos 1, 1A, the outbuilding, and the wall together form a cohesive group.
