Description
Dendy's is a 17th-century house, sometimes spelled 'Denbys', located in Horsham Rural. The building is constructed of whitewashed rubble and features a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays, with all windows being casements that have leaded lights. A small gabled stone porch leads to the door in the central bay. There are two chimneys: the left one is on the ridge and made of brick with a moulded cap, while the lower part of its shaft, which inserts into the gable wall, is tile hung. The right-hand stack is external and made of stone, extending to the point where the roof is half hipped. There is also a probably later rear wing that is tiled and has a flat-roofed extension.
