Description

Church Gate House, also known as Old Bakehouse, is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building. Some of the original timber framing is exposed behind in the churchyard, but the ground floor has been refronted with painted brick, while the upper part features fishscale tiles. The building has gables at each end and a tiled roof. It includes casement windows and has a modern shop front.
