Description

Chanctonbury Cottage is a medieval timber-framed building, likely originally a hall house. It features plaster infilling and curved braces on the first floor, while the ground floor has been rebuilt using flints. The cottage has a thatched roof and includes one ordinary sash window with intact glazing bars, along with several horizontally-sliding sash windows. The building stands two storeys high and has two windows on its south-east front, which is weather-boarded.
