Description

95 and 97 High Street is a timber-framed building dating from the 16th century or earlier. It features plaster infilling and diagonal braces on the first floor, standing on a cobbled base. The building has tiled roofs and sash windows with intact glazing bars. The doorways are accessed by six steps and are framed by moulded architraves with pediments supported by console brackets, leading to six-panel doors. Inside, there is a queen-post roof.
