Description

Cowfield Antiques, also known as Ye Olde Shop and St Peter's Shop, is a 16th-century timber-framed building located on Henfield Road. The south end of the street frontage and the back facing the churchyard show some exposed timbering and plaster infilling, although most of the exterior has been refaced with stucco and features some fishscale tiles. The building has a Horsham slab roof and horizontally-sliding sash windows. In the center, there is a small mid-19th-century shop front, while a modern shop front is located at the north end. The structure is two storeys tall with five windows. At the back, there is a 17th-century brick addition on the ground floor with cement above and a gable over it. Additionally, behind the central portion, there is a small 19th-century gabled addition made of red brick and cement.
