Description
Nos 26 to 30 on North Street are located on a triangular site between North Street and Park Street, contributing significantly to the townscape as one enters Horsham from the north. Originally said to have been built in the 15th century, the building has undergone considerable alterations, with an 18th-century front. It is two storeys tall with an attic and features three windows. There are gables at each end of the front, each containing an attic window. The exterior is stuccoed, with a parapet between the gables and a tiled roof. The building has a plinth that runs along its base. Most of the windows are sash windows, including a small bay window on the ground and first floors beneath the south gable, with intact glazing bars. The doorway is framed and has a small pediment above it. Inside, crown posts can be found in the roof of the north cross-wing, and there is a mid to late 16th-century hall in the central section of the building.
