Description

The estate walls surrounding Horsham Park are two surviving lengths of walls, likely from the 18th century. One section runs along North Street to the east of the house and is approximately 5 to 6 feet high, constructed from dressed Forest stone blocks with stone capping. The other section is along North Parade to the west of the grounds, also about 5 to 6 feet high, made of random stone with projecting round-topped coping and plain flat pilasters. This section is similar to the estate wall of Springfield Park, which runs parallel on the opposite side of North Parade. Horsham Park, along with the stables, granary, outbuildings, and estate walls, forms a cohesive group.
