The ruins of the medieval Knepp Castle are located off Shipley Castle Lane. This structure dates back to the early Norman period and features a piece of masonry that stands approximately 30 feet high and 6 feet thick, situated on a circular mound. The castle includes two round-headed windows, one positioned above the other.
