Description
The gateway at the north-west corner of the kitchen garden wall of St Joseph's Dominican Convent, located at the corner of Brown's Lane and Church Street, features an elaborate wooden Moorish doorway. This doorway consists of 32 panels, each adorned with a rose, and is set within a carved surround topped by a wide panel resembling an over-door. Behind the doorway, there is a wooden gabled structure.
