Description
The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin is a large building consisting of a chancel with north and south chapels, a nave with aisles, a south porch, and a west tower. Of the original medieval building, only the Perpendicular columns of the north arcade of the nave remain, as the church was largely rebuilt in the 18th century in 1750, and again in 1876, when the south aisle was added.
