Description
This is a 17th century or earlier L-shaped timber-framed building, which has been refronted with red brick and grey headers. The ground floor is painted, with the south end stuccoed. The roof is tiled, featuring a half-hipped gable to the east wing. The windows include casement windows on the first floor, a sash window on the ground floor, a small bay with glazing bars, and a modern shop window. A doorway is topped with a flat hood. Inside, the anvil bellows and salt-box of the former forge have been preserved in their original positions.
