Description

West Chiltington Windmill is an 18th-century smock mill located on West Chiltington Mill Road. It features an octagonal "roundhouse" made of Hythe sandstone rubble that is tarred, with the first floor having a similar finish. The next two storeys are covered with tarred weather-boarding. The windmill has a boat-shaped cap and retains only two intact sweeps. There are residential additions to the southeast and southwest of the windmill.
