Description

Fryars, originally known as Barnetts Farm, is a building from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings, quoins, and a string course. The roof is made of Horsham slabs and features a gable at the north-east end of the front. The building has casement windows and a doorway topped with a flat hood, which has a shell ornament above it. The door is elaborately carved. Fryars is two storeys high with an attic in the gable and has three windows.
