Description

Lilac Cottage is a building from probably the early 18th century. It has two storeys, with the ground floor made of painted brick and the first floor covered in tile hanging. The roof is tiled and features an outshut at the rear. There are two casement windows, and the entrance has a doorcase within a modern lean-to porch. The cottage has two external chimney stacks, one at each end. Inside, you will find exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace.
