Description

This is a cottage dating from the 16th century, with 20th-century extensions to the rear. It is timber framed and rests on a brick and stone plinth. The lower portion of the walls are whitewashed brick, while the upper portion is tile hung. The front has a half-hipped, plain tiled roof with weatherboarded ends, and an offset end stack on the left. The cottage is two storeys high, with two 20th-century casement windows on the first floor. A central planked door is set within a 20th-century open gabled porch that has wooden supports on brick dado walls. A 20th-century rendered and tile-hung pent roof extension is set back to the right. The interior features visible ceiling frames.
