Description

The gate piers at the western end of No 39 are made of painted brick and feature capping and ball finials. These piers mark the entrance to the former coachman's house and stables associated with Westgate House. They are located on the southern side of Westgate, behind No 39, which is currently used as workshops. The gate piers are part of a group that includes Nos 27 to 39 (odd numbers).
