Description
Chalk Cottage, J and V J Lain, Watchmaker and Jeweller, and Westbourne Antiques are a single building located on the north side of The Square in Westbourne. This 18th-century structure has two storeys and features seven windows. The exterior is finished with stucco, weather-boarding, or roughcast, and it has a tiled roof. Most of the glazing bars are intact, and there are two small shop windows. It is sometimes referred to as Nos 1-3 The Square, but this designation can lead to confusion with another building on the east side of the Square that shares the same numbering.
