Description

This early 19th-century building comprises the terraced numbers 190 to 198 Orchard Street. It is two storeys high and originally featured one window in each section. The roof is slated, hipped, and divided into two sections, with a steeper pitch to numbers 190 to 192. A small, dentilled brick cornice runs below the eaves. The building is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers. The sash windows have flush boxes and retain their original glazing bars, except in numbers 190 and 192. Upper windows are in flat arches, while the lower windows are in slightly segmental arches. The doorways are also defined by segmental arches. Number 194 has a door with six moulded panels, the top two cut away and glazed.
