Description
Tile House and Tile Cottage are located on the west side of The Street in Plaistow. Tile House is an L-shaped building that was previously two separate houses, while Tile Cottage is a small section at the rear. The main structure dates back to the 17th century or earlier and features a timber frame that has been refaced with painted brick on the ground floor and is hung with fishscale tiles above. The building has a tiled roof and casement windows, standing two storeys tall with a total of five windows.
