Description

Elmleigh Cottage, now part of Brackenhurst Place, is a cottage building dating from the 17th century or earlier. Originally a single cottage, it is now subdivided. The building has a double L-shape. The north wall displays exposed timber framing and red brick infilling. The ground floor of the rest of the building is red brick, while the upper floor is tile-hung. It has a tiled roof and casement windows. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows.
