Description

Swan Cottage is a mid-18th century building that stands two storeys high and features three windows. The facade is made of coursed white stone resembling chalk blocks, with Roman cement dressings and quoins. The back wall is faced with cobbles. It has a hipped tiled roof and retains its original glazing bars. The doorway is topped with a flat hood supported by brackets and has a door with six fielded panels. This building was once known as the Swan Inn and later referred to as Meadowcroft.
