Description

Old Forge Cottage, originally three cottages, dates back to 1729. It is a two-storey building with five windows, constructed from flints with red brick dressings, quoins, and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is hipped and tiled, and it features casement windows. Attached to it is the former Poling Corner Post Office, which is now empty and no longer functions as a Post Office. This addition, made in the early 19th century, has one window-bay and is built from painted brick, with two windows facing north.
