Description

This is a ruined dovecote located 90 yards north-west of the church in Shoreham-by-Sea. It is probably from the 18th century and is constructed from flint and rubble-stone, featuring dressed quoins. The structure has four walls, which are lower to the east but rise to 10 feet high on the west side, forming a square measuring 7 yards by 7 yards. The eastern wall includes a round opening, while the doorway on the north side is blocked. This dovecote is included for its group value.
