Description

Old Rectory Cottage is a late 17th-century house located on Kingston Lane, Southwick. It is constructed primarily of flint, with some replacement cobblestone, and features red brick quoins and dressings. The roof is thatched, with an end projecting stack to the left and a central ridge stack. The house is two storeys high, with an irregular arrangement of three windows on each floor – these are casement windows, with the ground-floor windows set beneath segmental arches. A blocked doorway has been replaced with a window on the right-hand side of the ground floor.
