Description

This is a pair of cottages dating to the 18th century. They have incised plasterwork and a red brick eaves cornice, topped with a plain tiled roof and chimneys at the rear. The cottages have two storeys and a symmetrical four-window facade. The upper floor windows are glazing bar sashes. On the ground floor, there are shallow square oriels with pentice hoods and lattice glazing. The front features half-glazed doors, each protected by a flat hood supported by brackets, positioned between the first and second, and the third and fourth windows from the left. The cottages are included on the heritage list because of their contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
