Description
The Mill House is a house dating from around 1750. It is constructed of brick and features a parallel range with hipped plain tile roofs behind a parapet. The building has end stacks on the left and right, as well as an additional stack at the rear left. It stands three storeys high over a basement, with plat bands between the floors and at the top of the parapet. The house has five bays with a central break and is fitted with glazing bar sash windows that are set under gauged heads. A central Doric portico with fluted pilasters and a triglyph frieze above has been infilled. There are paired three-panel doors beneath a fanlight, which are accessed by a flight of four steps. To the left, there is a 19th-century single-storey addition, and a glazed conservatory is located at the rear left.
