Description

The White House is a house built around 1820. It features whitewashed brick on a rendered plinth with rendered dressings, and has parallel slate roofs with a rendered stack in the valley to the right. The building is two storeys high and has a brick band over the ground floor. It consists of three bays, with glazing bar sash windows set in raised strip surrounds and projecting sills. There is a 20th-century glazed porch with a tent roof at the right end, which contains a glazed door. To the right, there is a single-storey extension with timber framing of thin scantling and whitewashed brick infill, topped with a slate roof. Additional extensions are located at the rear.
