Description

Glebe Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed with whitewashed brick infill and has a plain tile roof featuring a ridge stack located to the right of the center. The building stands two stories high and has three bays on the right side, with a gable front cross wing at the left end that includes a lobby entrance. The windows are of irregular mixed fenestration, with casements on the first floor and leaded casements below a 20th-century plank door positioned to the right of center. At the rear right, there is a 19th-century whitewashed brick addition that also has two stories and features casement windows, with those on the ground floor having cambered heads and "gothick" style glazing bars. Inside, the timber frame is visible.
