Description

The Roake Tomb, located 1 yard north of the north wall of St. Mary's Church in Horsell, is a Grade II listed chest tomb dedicated to Ann Roake, who died in 1789. The tomb is approximately 4 feet high and features panelled sides with mouldings surrounding the inscriptions. It has palmettes at the corners and set back pilaster piers at each corner, all resting on a moulded base.
