Description
Home Farm is a house with a core dating back to the 17th century, which was reworked in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is built from sandstone rubble with brick quoins and dressings, featuring tile hanging on the first floor in a fishscale pattern, and has a hipped plain tiled roof. The building has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys tall.
The house has a central ridge stack and three leaded casement windows on the first floor, with the outer windows being two-light. On the ground floor, there are two two-light casement windows and a central part-glazed panelled door that is sheltered by an open gable hood.
On the right-hand return front, the structure is made of galleted coursed sandstone with red brick dressings and a plat band over the ground floor, with tile hanging above. There are three leaded casements on each floor of this side.
