Description
The farm buildings located to the north and northwest of Frensham Hall Farmhouse date from the late 19th century. They consist of a double row of two-storey structures, each featuring three sections arranged in bays, with a courtyard in between. The upper parts of the buildings are weatherboarded, while the lower sections are made of crazy random rubble with red brick dressings. The roofs are swept and slated, adorned with decorative ridge tiles and deep eaves soffits. Gabled hoods are positioned above the loading doors, which break the eaves line. The windows include small paned wooden casements above and metal ones below. The west range features ridge louvred vents and a central gable. The east face of the east range is more architecturally impressive, benefiting from the slope of the ground, and is constructed of large rubble with a noticeable batter, divided by brick buttresses. Above this, there is weatherboarding and low triangular louvred openings at the junction.
