Description

Benhams Stud House is a 17th-century house featuring a timber frame that is underbuilt in brick, with fishscale tile hanging above. It has a half-hipped plain tile roof topped with a large multiple central ridge stack. The building stands two storeys high and includes 19th-century casement windows, with three located across the first floor. There is a boarded door on the right side of the central projecting gable front bay. Inside, the house showcases square panel timber framing and a deep brick fireplace, which is currently blocked.
