Description
Belweathers is a house dating from the late 15th century to early 16th century, which was restored in the 19th century by E. W. Marshall. The building is timber framed and has a brick front, with tile hanging on the sides and hipped Horsham slab roofs featuring end gablets. It stands two storeys high and has a pebbledashed triple stack chimney to the left of the centre, along with a corbelled end stack to the right. The central gable is adorned with scalloped bargeboards and features three square, projecting, leaded windows on the first floor, all under pentice hoods supported by corbel jetties. There is an angle bay window on the first floor of the central gable, and the ground floor has outer angle bay windows, with a 2-light diamond pane window to the right of centre. A ribbed door is located at the ground floor of the central bay.
