Description
The outbuilding located to the east of New Park is a former granary dating from the 16th century. It features a timber frame that is clad at the front in red and blue brick, with sandstone and wattle infill on the sides. The building has a steeply pitched plain tiled roof with gablets. There is a fine stack at the rear left, which has been truncated, and arched bracing is present at the rear. The structure is two storeys high and has later flooring added. On the front, there are two diamond-pane windows at ground level, and a door is situated at the end, which is sheltered by a pentice-roofed porch that connects to a catslide extension of the main building.
