Description

Little Stoatley Farmhouse is an early 17th century house that has a later facade. It stands two storeys high and features three windows. The building has a high-pitched tiled roof that is hipped at the left and half-hipped at the right, with a compound stack located near the left end. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is constructed of red brick with blue headers. The windows are C19 or earlier leaded iron casements. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed timber with deep Roman carpenters' marks, and it has a side-purlin roof supported by triple and quadruple queen posts to the collar beams.
