Description

Garth Cottage is a late 19th-century building that was originally a stable and coachhouse for "The Garth." It has a small L-shaped layout, with one storey and an attic on the right side and two storeys on the left side, which returns to form the L shape. The building features high-pitched tiled roofs, with walls that are banded tile hung above and red brick below. It has small leaded casement windows and a plain boarded door, along with modernised carriage doors on the right. There is also a glazed pent extension on the left. Garth Cottage is included in the listing for its group value and its association with Oak Garth and The Garth.
