Description
Church Hill Gate is a 18th-century building that was formerly part of Church Hill House. It has a main front that is two storeys high and features three irregularly placed windows. The building has a fairly high-pitched tiled roof. On the first floor, there are tall casement windows that break the eaves and are topped with gables. The first floor is decorated with fancy tile hanging, while the ground floor is constructed from large malmstone rubble with some galleting below. Red brick dressings add to its character. The windows are modern leaded casements with transoms, and there is a three-panel door located beneath an amble-bracketed hood. Additionally, there is a modern extension on the left side that projects from the main structure.
