Description
1 and 2 Westbrook Green Cottages is a house that has been divided, dating from the 17th century. It has a timber-framed core that is clad in brown and grey brick, topped with a plain tiled roof that is hipped at the left end. The building stands two storeys high and features an eaves plat band, along with a tall, multiple ridge stack located to the left of the center and an additional stack at the front end to the right.
The cottage has an irregular arrangement of casement windows, with three on the first floor and three below, including one on the left that is set under a cambered head. To the right, there is a part-glazed 20th-century door situated in a half-glazed gabled brick porch, while a part-glazed door (No. 2) is located to the left. The right-hand return front is constructed from Bargate rubble walls. At the rear, there is a hip-roofed wing that is rendered.
