Description
Westbrook Hill Cottages is a house that has been extended and divided, dating from the 17th century in the center, with additions from the 18th and 19th centuries at the ends and rear. The building has a timber-framed core clad in red and brown brick, with the first floor rendered on the gable ends to the right. It features plain tiled roofs that are half-hipped to the left and has a T-shaped plan with a wing at the center of the rear elevation. The house is two storeys high, with an end stack to the left and a multiple stack to the right of the center. There is a plat band over the ground floor. On the left side, there are three flat-roofed, through-eaves windows, and on the first floor to the right, there is one two-light window in the gable end. The ground floor has five windows under cambered heads. The doors include one to the left of center (No. 3), a part-glazed door to the right of center (No. 2), and another door to the left side of the gable bay (No. 1). Inside, the main posts are visible in the center rooms on both floors, and there are deep brick fireplaces.
