Description
The building is a carriage house and implement shed located 3 yards south of Combe Court Farm, dating from 1882. It features a timber frame on the ground floor to the right, with brick on the left-hand return front. The exterior is adorned with fishscale tile hanging and has plain tile hipped roofs. The ground floor has six open bays on the right, constructed with post and lintel and curved braces, all beneath three hipped projecting roofs with gablets. The main roof is situated behind these projections and includes two square ridge lanterns with slatted sides and pyramidal roofs that have bracketed eaves. A notable feature is the round corner dovecote, which has a bracketed three-stage conical roof, triangular dormer openings in the lowest stage, and a crowning weathervane. A terracotta plaque displaying the date 1882 is located on the left-hand return front.
