Description
Street Farm House is a house from the mid-17th century that was refronted in the 18th century and restored in the 20th century. It has a timber-framed core with whitewashed rubblestone cladding on a brick plinth, and the right-hand return features exposed galleted Bargate stone with brick dressings. The roof is plain tiled, hipped with a gablet on the left and half-hipped with a gablet on the right. The building has a T-shaped plan that runs at right angles to the street and is two storeys tall. There are tall brick stacks to the left of centre with a corbelled top. The first floor has three 3-light windows and one single light window above the door. The ground floor features three 3-light windows under cambered heads, and the door is located to the left of centre, also under a cambered head. There is a pentice extension at the rear.
