Description

The Clement Chest Tomb, located 10 yards southwest of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, is a chest tomb dedicated to John Clement, who died in 1741. It is constructed of brick set on a stone plinth, featuring inset stone panels on the ends and sides. The sides are adorned with oval decorations, while the ends have roundels with fan decorations in the spandrels. The tomb is topped with a flat stone lid that has moulded edges and an inscription.
