Description
Little Lake Farm House is a house from the 16th century that was extended in the 17th century and restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame on a brick plinth, with galleted coursed sandstone cladding on the right side of the ground floor, and red and blue brick on the left side of the ground floor and the right side of the first floor. The first floor also has brick infill on the right side and on the wing, with square panel framing exposed. The roof is plain tiled and has a corbelled rebuilt ridge stack located to the right of the center, along with a front stack on the left. The house has a T-shaped plan and is two storeys high, consisting of four framed bays with a gabled cross wing on the left. There are four 20th-century casement windows across the first floor, and one window on the first floor of the wing. A planked door is located to the left of center on the right side, set under a cambered head, with another door positioned to the left of the re-entrant angle.
