Description
Greenmeads Farm House is a 17th-century house with 19th-century extensions at the rear. It features a square panel timber frame on a rendered plinth, with whitewashed brick infill below and tile hanging above, some of which is in a fishscale pattern. The left-hand return front is also tile hung, while the rear is constructed of brick. The roof is plain tiled with a rear stack on the left side. The house has a gable end at the front, is two storeys tall with an attic in the gable, and has one casement window on each floor. To the left of center, there is a half-glazed door beneath a shallow gabled porch hood supported by wooden columns with curved bargeboards and a spiked finial. A pent-roofed bay is set back to the right, featuring a cambered head casement window. There is also a planked door located in the re-entrant angle with the main house, which is covered by a pent hood on a single wooden column.
Inside, the ground floor room to the left has an exposed ceiling frame and a deep brick fireplace. An old exterior wall has been preserved within the new extensions.
